| Throwing on the Potters Wheel

This is a 2 and a half hour class for two students. Partrick will give you an introduction to throwing on the potters wheel which will involve creating a bowl or vase. The class will start with a demonstration by Patrick to go over the important details of using the potters wheel and then guiding you further, to complete this task.

At the end of the class you will have created 2 pots which Patrick will fire and glaze for you ready for you to collect 3-4 weeks later.

Things to remember

All materials provided for the class but please wear casual clothes as working with clay can be messy. Also, if you are attending by car please send me your registration number at least three days before.

Patrick is a brilliant teacher who is very patient. Really enjoyed the time making pots and getting some background on what pottery is all about. The time flew by. At the end I could choose two of the pots to be glazed and fired. Very pleased about that! Well worth it!
